Bio: Luna is a PhD candidate in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at UC Berkeley. Prior to joining UC Berkeley, she received a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from Peking University, China.

Research: Luna's work is at the intersection of development economics and data science. She is particularly interested in using granular remote sensing data and deep learning algorithms to improve measures of economic development in developing countries.
